Crochet level: intermediate/advanced

Before starting the project, it is recommended that you are familiar with basic crochet stitches (single crochet, slip stitch, chain stitch, etc.). I will guide you through the entire process of creating this bag, step by step. This comprehensive tutorial is approximately 5 hours long and is divided into four parts.

The video tutorial is in English and includes English subtitles, which can be changed to any other language of your choice.

Supplies you need:

  • 2 to 3 skeins of premium quality T-shirt yarn (100% cotton)

Skein specification:
Length per skein: 110-120 meters (approximately 120-130 yards). Weight: 380 +/- 30 grams.
The thickness of each skein’s strand is about 7-8 mm. Ensure the yarn has consistent width.
Recommended brands: Pimotki, Biskvit.

Note: It is essential to use T-shirt yarn with identical specifications to avoid variations in the final dimensions of your bag.

Crochet hooks: 5 mm (H-8), 6 mm (US J-10), 6.5 mm (L-10.5).
2 semi-circles (25 mm inner diameter / 1 inch).
Clasp (used in the video: 40 mm x 40 mm / ~1.57 inches x 1.57 inches).
2 opening rings (32 mm inner diameter / ~1.26 inches).
Plastic needle.
Stitch markers.
Pliers.
Measuring tape.
Scissors.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

Crochet the main and side panels of the Tiffany bag.
Crochet the top handle and attach the clasp.
Work puff stitches in a way that ensures they are neat and aesthetically pleasing.
The video covers the entire process of making the Tiffany bag, from start to finish.
