This pattern is available from etsy.com for €3.50.

A cute and beginner friendly crochet pattern to make your own small stackable tiger potato plushie.

The PDF file is written in US crochet terms and consists of clear instructions and picture tutorials. This pattern leaves a lot of room for customisations to express your own creativity and you can use the materials and tools you are comfortable with.

For example: if you want to make a more cuddly plush, try using blanket yarn and create a soft, squishy and chonky tiger potato!

For this pattern you do need some basic knowledge about crocheting in the round, how to make colour changes, the basic stitches, like: increasing, decreasing, ensembling an amigurumi, but overall some patience and a lot of enthusiasm!

Materials

  • 2.5 mm hook
  • scrap yarn or stitch marker
  • polyester fibre fill (toy stuffing)
  • yarn needle
  • fingering cotton yarn 2.5 mm in the colours: white & orange for the body of the tiger black for ears, nose, eyes and stripes.

Optional:
-Lace yarn - 1.5/1 mm
white for the eye sparkles & to make face indent

Size
Exact gauge is not important for Amigurumi, you can adjust the size by using thicker or thinner yarn and another hook size. If you do use the materials and exact sizes as listed above, your tiger potato will be approximately 3,5 cm tall and 4 cm wide.
