Break out the little umbrellas! If you’ve overloaded on the cute, are looking for something a little different or maybe a gift appropriate for a particular person or just a mascot, this pattern works. I was really starting to worry if I was going to make it out of my friend’s workshop without him stealing it.
Knit all in one piece, cabled down the back to suggest carving, short rows to create high relief recesses in the face, with a little increasing, decreasing and sculpting, this guy is a chance to try out all sorts of techniques, without committing to a huge project. Lots of customization options make it easy to create a whole set without ever doing the same thing twice!
Using worsted weight, the finished size is about 4 x 8”.

Errata:
Following the eye socket shaping, the stitch count is off on one line. It should read:
R13: k2, k2tog, k10, kfb x2, k9, k2tog, k2 (29)
