TILCA Poncho

This is an ideal project for the mid-season: It keeps the torso and lower back warm but still allows movement in the arms. If you spend many hours in the computer (or maybe knitting) and tend to cool off, this is great for you.
The motif of the line of flowers is inspired by the Fuchsia flower, a bush found in most of South America, named Tilca in the native Mapuche language.

Este ponchito es ideal para media estación porque nos mantiene abrigados el torso y la cintura pero nos deja libertad de movimiento. Si pasas muchas horas en la computadora y te enfrías por quedarte quieta, puede ser un gran accesorio.

El motivo de la línea de flores está inspirado en la flor Fucsia, un arbusto que se encuentra en toda en el sur de América, y que los Mapuches, habitantes originarios de la Patagonia, llaman Tilca.
