This is Tilda, the nine banded armadillo. Tilda spends her time caring for her baby Earl. They spend their days curled up and snoozing in their burrow and their evenings slurping bugs like noodles. Their favourite pastimes include hide and seek in the undergrowth and making mud pies.

You can find the pattern for her baby Earl here

Tilda measures about 8 inches across (excluding her tail) in a DK yarn, but can be made from any weight yarn and appropriate hook for different sizes. It is an easy pattern to follow with plenty of photos and diagrams and you will always be welcome to contact me for any extra help.
This pattern is available in US and UK Terminology and you will receive a download link to both files.
