Alrighty, who is ready for the fall season? I know I am! Something about the slow pace and less time outside appeals to me …wait…it’s more knitting time!

As kids go back to school and summer holidays and activities wind up, we get a chance to go back to knitting and spend some quality time with needles, yarns, coffee and a favorite podcast! Sounds like you? Then this simple but fun project is perfect for fall knitting.

You will need 50g (200 - 220 yards) of three colors for the total of 600 - 660 yards. Any fingering weight yarn will do.

You could assemble a gradient, fade or bright contrasting yarns. Any of these options would work nicely with this design. Leftovers from larger projects would work perfectly - just check out some of the beautiful FOs for color inspiration!

27” long at deepest point and 24” circumference at the top (schematic provided in the pattern).

US#5/3.75mm - 24”/60cm circular needles

3 markers, tapestry needle

24 sts/28 rows per 4” (10cm) with US#5/3.75mm needles in Stockinette stitch blocked
