Ce projet à été crée en collaboration avec Akara Yarns et la Trukerie dans le cadre du Festival Twist 2021. Les chaussettes Timeless Ruffles se tricotent du haut vers le bas et elles sont inspirées des cols de Fraises, qui étaient portés par la noblesse en Europe occidental au 16e siècle. Les boutons de bois ajoutent une touche rustique au tricot.

Laine: Light Fingering: 68g-89g (272m-400m) 4 ply socks d’Akara yarns, 75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon, 400m (100g)

Échantillon: 8m pour 10 rangs = 2.50cm/1’’. Échantillon bloqué et tricoté en jersey en rond.

Boutons: 4 boutons de bois (2 cm max de diamètre)

This project was created in collaboration with Akara Yarns and La Trukerie as part of the Twist Festival 2021. The Timeless Ruffles socks are knitted from top to bottom and are inspired by Ruff collars, which used to be worn by the nobility of Western Europe in the 16th century. The wood buttons add a rustic touch to the knitting.
