This is another simple shawl using my two favorite elements… gradient yarns… and bias construction. This one is large but very light due to the silk/merino blend. Along with the beautiful detail of the colorway, I have added sections of unique but easy texture stitches between sections of stockinette. I soaked it and blocked it pretty aggressively to open up the stitches to make it airy and to show off the texture sections.

The yarn I used is sold in 150 gram, gradient bundles of 6 skeins @ 100 yds each. The skeins are each numbered to indicate the order of the gradient. You can start with either #1 or #6 and work through the order up or down. Just switch to the next color at the end of a row when you get near the end of each skein.

The finished measurements, after blocking, are 116” long X 13” wide.

Please note: gauge was determined after blocking
