This is a Shetland-style square shawl using traditional Shetland lace patterns. The construction is simple — a central square is knit, then stitches are picked up all around and worked on circular needles, after which the lace edging is added. It is knit in a very soft lace-weight merino yarn which comes in a lovely array of colours.

Recommended for Advanced Intermediate or Experienced knitters.
