Tindales are gregarious creatures most likely to be at home in the Muskoka region. Tindales are often bold and just a little off-centre. Known for their extensive recall of song lyrics, they also have very large vocabularies and have been heard using cuss words in the wild. A group of Tindales is called a “bombardment”. Meeting a Tindale can make your day. Being loved by a Tindale means you are very blessed indeed.

Welcome a new addition - even a non Tindale - with a bold blanket of warmth.

The Tindale blanket is constructed in the log cabin style where each block is picked up off the edge of the previous one. This pattern is very accessible to newer knitters, and a soothingly uncomplicated make for the more seasoned.

Knitters need to know how to:

  • cast on,
  • knit,
  • pick up stitches,
  • count garter ridges,
  • bind off.

Choose a worsted weight wool or wool blend yarn that is soft, a little bit drapey, and is easy care - washability is important to lots of parents & caregivers. A superwash-treated wool provides warmth while being laundry-friendly.
