This long A-line cardigan is one of our favorite types of Fall sweater. Tinder has knuckle-length sleeves, a deep-ribbed hem, a stand-up collar, and a classic waffle stitch pattern. The raglan yoke gives the sweater a casual fit and a cozy feel, perfect for layered walks in Autumn. Take the opportunity to indulge in some extra special buttons (we found circular buttons (3/4” diameter) made of dark brown horn, and love them).

Construction

  • Tinder is worked in 5 separate pieces: Back, Left Front, Right Front, and two Sleeves.
  • After seaming, a stand-up collar is worked from neck opening and a button band is picked up and worked on either side of cardigan opening at center front.
