Loved making this one! I hadn’t cabled in a while, and this one gave me lots of fun cables to knit. There is NO shaping! This shrug/cocoon/bolero is a one size pattern, fitting most people, It’s 37” wide and 30” tall, about 27” after “collar” is folded.

It’s simple, fairly quick on size US 10/6mm circular needles and light bulky or Aran or heavy worsted weight yarn. I chose Cascade 220 Superwash Aran as it’s an affordable and soft yarn - perfect for a jaunty little coverup.

These are so easy to wear, throw it on quickly and head out the door; or snuggle up by wearing it over your jammies with a cup of cocoa. Personally, I love to wear mine!

I like the tiny bubbles cable pattern (found in Nicky Epstein cable book - thanks, Nicky!) - reminds me of New Year’s Eve celebrations. This pattern features color coding to make the cable you’re looking for easier to find. It’s a great distraction from all the “REALITY” we’re dealing with right now.

Stay safe this holiday season. Love to you all.
