This is a pattern for a car seat blanket, which i called Tiny Butterflies. It is a modified version of my first pattern called Little Hearts written back in 2013.
It is a small blanket with rounded bottom part, just the right size for the car seat or Moses basket, measuring approx. 55x65 cm. It means you do not need to fold any big blanket twice or even four time risking to overheat the baby.
This blanket knitted to a lace pattern resembling small butterflies, hence the name. As well as the original 2013 border I included another version of it.
There are 6 A4 pages in the document, filled with written instructions, charts and photographs for various stages of this project.
This blanket can be knitted either in one or two colours - with contrasting border.
I quite like working with James C. Brett baby acrylic - as one skein is enough for this blanket, however if purchasing another brand of yarn please bear in mind the yardage - about 290-300m for one colour and if working in two colours - 60%/40% split of the above.

I always use 3mm needles for DK yarn, yet you might prefer working with 4mm or whatever size needles are best for you when knitting with DK. Gauge in this case might be slightly different, so please use it as a guide only rather than a magic number you have to stick to.

All my patterns are written by myself, and I offer them for sale for personal use only. Which means you cannot sell the pattern, nor blankets made using my pattern for your financial gain.
