Tiny Heart Mittens, a quick and easy knitting project. The little heart is made of purl stitches and the neat and tidy rib is knitted in the back loop. You will find links how to in the pattern.

The heart pattern is on both sides of the mitten.

The mittens are knitted in the round OR flat, both descriptions are included (two PDF files).

Tiny Heart Mittens er en enkel oppskrift på votter med små hjerter på begge sider av votten. De strikkes rundt på strømpepinner eller med magic loop teknikken.

Skill level 1 & 2: Beginner / Easy

You will need:

  • Straight needles (if knitted flat) OR

  • DPNs or circular needles in two sizes: US 2,5 / 3mm / UK 11 and US 4 / 3,5 mm / UK 9 (if knitted in the round)

  • Yarn (merino wool, wool, acrylic or any other DK/light worsted/8 ply yarn) ie Rialto DK from Debbie Bliss

  • Tapestry needle

The pattern includes three sizes. The mittens are knitted in Drops Merino Extra Fine (1 skein = 50 grams/115 yards).

Sizes/Materials:

0-3 months - 50 yards/20 g
3-6 months - 60yards/25 g
6-12 months -75 yards/30 g
