Tiny Leaves are lightweight wool socks with a beautiful leaf pattern on the upper side of the foot and on the leg, giving it a delicate
and romantic feel.

They are worked using the magic loop technique starting from the toe with a Turkish CO method. The heel is shaped using German short rows. The leaf pattern is created following an easy lace chart.

Measurements: leg circumference approx. 20 cm / 8”, foot circumference approx. 20.5 cm / 8.25”, length adjustable.

Gauge: 28 sts x 40 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in Stockinette St and 30 sts x 40 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in lace pattern using 3 mm (US 2.5) needles, after blocking.

Needles: 3 mm (US 2.5) long circular needles (suitable for magic loop technique).

Yarn: 60 g Aara Mieli (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon – 425 m / 465 yds / 100 g), colour Koru.

Notions: Stitch markers and tapestry needle.
