Tiny mushrooms speckle the forest, hiding away in fallen trees, gaps in roots, and damp soil. Some are friendly and edible, others mischievous and poisonous. The ruffles on the Tiny Mushrooms socks mimic the caps on these natural wonders, with button stitch bobbles mimicking wee scales.

Sizes
There are four sizes available in pattern, 1 (18cm / 7.25” foot circumference), 2 (20cm / 8” foot circumference), 3 (22.5cm / 9” foot circumference), and 4 (25cm / 10” foot circumference). Note that the sizes listed are measured around the sock, so find your size by measuring your foot and then subtracting 10%.

Yarn and Yardage
The sample is knit in Hue Loco Merino Sock in Ash. 175 - 280 yards are needed for this pattern, depending on size.

Notions
Knitting needles (DPNs or circulars), stitch markers, darning needle, and sock blockers.

Techniques
The pattern uses cuff down, in the round, heel flap and gusset sock construction. The bobbles are created using the Estonian button stitch technique, which is explained in the pattern, and a link to a video and written tutorial is included.
