This is a beautiful, “warm and textured blanket. The combination of stitches gives it a squishable” feel.

The pattern is written so that is should be easy to follow, regardless of experience level, but please contact me with any questions and feedback, I will gladly help.

The pattern is for a 25x40” blanket, but I have also added instructions for making the blanket larger or smaller if that’s what you would prefer.

I used 3 balls of Stylecraft Special DK yarn (1 ball of each colour, approximately 257 yards each) and a 4.5mm hook. Please make sure that you have enough yarn in each colour you choose for the size you decide to make.

You can use any colour combination you like, and can change colour whenever you like, but I think it looks best with 2 complimentary colours and a cream, white/lighter colour as a relief as well as the border.
