Construction
After working a provisional cast on the body of the cowl is knit in the round as a tube, working repeats of the slip stitch color work pattern. After the desired length is reached a twist is added before grafting the ends together for a seamless finish.

This cowl has plenty of mindless knitting, and would make a wonderful project for beginners and seasoned knitters alike.

Gauge
25 sts x 32 rows = 4” in pattern repeat

Yarn Requirements
MC- 300yds / 5.25oz (275m / 142g)
CC - 85yds / 1.5oz (78m / 68g)

2 skeins Selah Yarn Co. 2-Ply DK 100% alpaca for MC (Oat); 1 skein Selah Yarn Co. 2-Ply DK 100% alpaca for CC (Grey). Optionally see note for modifications.

Needles and Notions

• (2) US 5 / 3.75mm 16” circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

• Scrap yarn or hollow tubing (for provisional cast on)

• (1) stitch marker

• Darning needle

Extra Notes
Each CC repeat uses just under 5g, making this cowl perfect for stash busing!

This cowl can easily be worked to your desired length, making it highly customizable.

While hitting gauge will ensure your cowl turns out the same size, and will use the amount of yarn specified in the pattern, it is not critically important.
