Tjelvar
CONSTRUCTION
The Tjelvar Mittens are knitted in the round, from the cuff up in soft,
warm and durable wool to make sure you stay warm all through the
colder seasons. They begin with a corrugated, comfortable rib after
which the textured colourwork begins. The thumb is shaped with a gusset and patterned in stacks. Once the desired number of thumb sts are reached, they are put on hold. The top of the mitten is grafted, and the thumb is finished last. Note that both mittens are knitted in the same manner since the gusset and thumb is placed in the side of the mitten.
