Tjorven is a an easy-knitted everyday dress for a little girl. It has a square neckline, shoulders are slightly sloping for better fit by the use of shortrows, and it has a pleaded skirt. The project is knitted from the top, using invisible cast-on in order to avoid seams on shouldertops. Armholes are finished with applied i-cord. I am of course heavily indebted to Barbara Walker and her book Knitting from the top for this design. Pattern instructions for sizes 6 months, 1 yr, 2 yrs.
