To the Sea Shawlette is a great one skein project, that you can take with you as you head out on vacation. No worrying about charts or different stitch patterns. Inspired by the simplicity and everyday stitches it’s knit sideways and on the bias, for a longer leaner shawlette or scarf.

Pattern includes instructions for adjusting the size and two options, one for a skein under 400 yds and one for those slightly larger skeins.

Finished Measurements: Wingspan x depth at centre after wet blocking: 65” x 11.5” / 165 x 29 cm

Yarn: 400 yds / 366 m fingering weight yarn that achieves gauge. Sample shown in Fino by Julie Asselin in SeaSmoke.

Size: US size 6 / 4 mm long circular needle for holding a large number of sts

Notions: Tapestry needle

Gauge: 20 sts = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch after wet blocking (gauge is not overly important; however, it will\alter yardage and finished measurements)

Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner

Notes: Knit sideways on a bias. Easily adjustable; you can start the edge after any number of Body Row repeats.
Simply add or subtract repeats of Body Rows 1-4 to desired
length of body.
