The Toadstool of Spring Tapestry Pattern uses the technique of double knitting to create a double sided tapestry, with both a dark and a light side of the moon.

The pattern assumes you already have knowledge of double knitting, and basic techniques such as knitting, purling, casting on and casting off!

The piece is knitted with two contrasting colors of yarn and can be knitted with virtually any yarn and needle size, just make sure your needle size is one size down from the size recommended for your yarn.

I used worsted weight yarn and size 6 needles to get a 10” wide x 8.5” tall tapestry.

Color pairings that would look great for this pattern include: red and white, pink and white, blue and white, grey and red, or something more extreme and far out!
