These folksy toadstools and mushrooms look like something straight out of a fairytale. They are simple and easy to make, so perfect for those starting out with crochet.
Once finished they make for fun novelty keepsakes, or look fabulous when threaded and turned into rustic hanging ornaments.

Materials

  • Light beige and dark brown yarn for the Mushrooms. Red and cream / white yarn for the Toadstools
  • Crochet Hook
  • Stitch marker Scissors Darning needle
  • Stuffing to fill your Mushrooms /
  • Toadstools Natural Twine to hang your Mushrooms / Toadstools

For the Toadstools you need small amounts of Red and White (or cream) coloured yarn.
The Mushrooms are made using a Light Beige and Dark Brown yarn.
Make sure to use a smaller hooksize than you normally would use for the type of yarn that you choose. The stitches need to be tight enough to prevent the stuffing from showing through. We went with a Worsted Weight yarn and used a 2.5mm crochet hook.

Happy Hooking!
