This hat was inspired by the yarn from Two Sister’s Yarn Co. It is the perfect neutral with subtle speckles, then I found the perfect pom pom to top it off. A simple textured pattern made the combo shine.

I love a folded brim to keep your ears extra warm, also if you are knitting for a gift and don’t quite know how long to make your hat, they can just fold over more or less of the brim (the hat will always cover their ears).

This pattern is easy enough for beginners. It also is a great first charted pattern to follow since the chart and pattern are both simple to follow. (both charted and written instructions included).

This is a great quick project for gift or charity hats. Make some for the whole family!

Yarn:

Use any DK weight yarn or fingering & lace weight yarn (held together) you would like, but if colors are too crazy you won’t see the texture as well.
