This is an easy project for a beginner with simple increase and decrease instructions, as well as including a buttonhole. It is very easy to adjust for any size head and make wider or narrow based on your preference. It looks great in self striping yarns or solids. There is also a bulky yarn version available. The crocheted flower is a Traditional Irish Rose and available as a separate pattern for purchase. We tied the rose on rather than permanently sewing in place
