The pattern is 9 pages long and written in English using US crochet terms. Also included are a lot of progress pictures for you to use as a reference. I will explain how to do some of the more challenging parts which makes the pattern also suitable for the beginners with a little experience. For the most part this pattern is worked in the round with no joining of the rounds. The pattern requires a minimum amount of sewing (I don’t like sewing and I think most crocheters don’t). Some parts are worked together like the tail and the body and the muzzle and the head. The arms and legs are thread jointed. I will explain how to do that. It’s much easier than you would think!

Choose your own favorite type of yarn and choose your own favorite colors. I used a C hook (Dutch size 2.5 mm) and a smaller hook B (Dutch size 2.0 mm) for the butterfly, the eyes and the neck. Of your main chosen color you will not need more than 50 grams of yarn.

I incorporated some fun and interesting stitches that will give you the option to make a matching baby blanket. Great for a baby gift together with the baby dragon.

You can sell the finished product! Please give me credit for the design and pattern.

I love seeing pictures of your dragons and I hope you have a lot of fun making this baby dragon!

Love, Ineke
