Toddler Lovely Blue in Pink Sock
About the Pattern
I was inspired by Rachel Coopey sock design named “Bertha” in the book “Sock Knitting-18 Innovative Design”, and after I made my own version of this fair isle socks for adult, I decided to make the toddler version with a bit of modification for the pattern. There are 3 size available of this pattern based on the age and foot length of toddler.
Each sock could be use either for right or left foot, that is why I use term sock 1 and sock 2 for this pattern instead of right and left sock. This sock is knit top down and seamless with bind off at the end (toe).
Some of the caption pictures in this pattern are just illustration from my other sock pattern. This is to show how to work on the specific sts such as sl1pwyf and sl1pwyb.
Yarn
I used Acrylic DK or 8ply, 50 gram/ball, 1 ball each colour, Colour Blue (Colour A) and Colour Pink (Colour B) . I suggested for acrylic yarn Lion Brand, Anko, or Unity. And for Wool I suggested Paton Brand.
