A gorgeous princess gown for your precious toddler. Bodice and roses are knit on the standard gauge knitting machine. Underskirt, halter straps and back sash are in poly-satin and there’s 3 lucious layers of tulle to make it Oh-SO-fluffy!!

Pattern comes with toddler sizes 2 (3, 4) to fit chest sizes 21” (22”, 23”). Dress length (measured from armpit) is meant to be a generous “princess length” - 20” (22”, 24”).

Gauge is 32 stitches and 44 rows per 4” which can be met by a fingering weight yarn. I was able to meet the gauge using both a 4-ply and also using 2 strands of 2/24. Schematics of each size are included if you would like to use a different yarn and gauge.

This is a Photo Tutorial pattern and includes step-by-step directions with over 50 photos to guide you through everything! A beginner machine knitter who is able to e-wrap cast on, hang a hem, transfer a stitch, decrease, increase and bind off should be able to manage this - so NO worries - and NO RIBBER required!

You will also need a sewing machine that is able to do both a straight stitch and either a zig-zag stitch or some sort of elastic type stitch to sew and assemble the pieces. All material requirements are listed for each size and options for how you buy and cut the tulle (off the bolt or by the spool) are included. You will also need 3/8” and 5/8” elastic and matching thread.

The 23 page pattern and instructions (really more like a booklet) will take you from start to finish of this adorable dress!
