This is a quick thrum pattern for toddlers. Knit in the round and all in one piece. No thumbs.

This pattern is for toddlers, the mitts end up about 20cm long (6inches) and good for a 15cm (5inch) diameter wrist.

The gauge for the wool should be 13-14sts per 10cm (4inches) but you will be using a smaller needle (4.5mm) to make the gauge 17sts per 10cm.

You will need 4mm and 4.5mm needles either long circular or double pointed.

I used about 1/2 skein of Galway Chunky wool in Heather for the main colour. And various colours of fibre for the thrums. I’m not sure how much fibre because I don’t have a scale right now.
