Recently I posted adult retro slippers with a pattern (not translated into English yet) and few of you asked me if I can make even a smaller size.
So I adapted it into toddlers´ slippers and the best thing is that you can do the same. This free pattern is so easy that you can make whatever size you need. So let´s try together.
USEFUL TIPS
make dots on the sole with a glue gun so the shoes will not be so slippery on the floor, you can also use a sock stop liquid picture here
you will need three sizes of the hooks, one for the shoe, one for the sole brim and one for the top shoe border
shoe size is 15 cm/5.9 in. The size could be adapted according to your choice. When you crochet these slippers for someone else, ask them to measure feet from the big toe to the heel and measure the circumference of instep
the pattern is not absolutely straight if you end with a slip stich (but it is easier for counting and for beginners) so with a use of a marker you can crochet in circles
if you use Bernat blanket yarn which is thicker, you will end up with a bigger size!
Good luck
