I first designed these socks in 2009 when I couldn’t find a toe up pattern with a heel flap. They are knit one at a time using the Magic Loop method If you want to knit two at a time you can do but it would involve putting the stitches of one sock on holders when you come to work the heel. Work each heel, then transfer all the stitches back to one needle to work the legs. If you work the heel exactly as instructed you should not end up with that annoying little hole at the top of the heel.
