Together is a top-down triangular shawl with bands of garter stitch between stripes and lace panels. Worked in a fingering weight Together is a wonderful example of how two colours together are so much more than their singular values. Together we are better. Together we are stronger. Together we can be amazing!

Try it in a Merino Single for a rustic feel, Linen for a summer shawl and what about SeaSilk or Pure Silk for a luxurious version. Wrap yourself up in this shawl for a wonderful feeling of togetherness and know that you are fabulous.

REQUIREMENTS
Size Options: As written 68” (173cm) wide, 33.5” (85cm) deep before blocking and 87” (221cm) wide, 44” (112cm) deep after. Measurements taken using Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light as Yarn A. Note that measurements will differ depending on yarn, tension, blocking etc and these are therefore given as a guide only.
Yarn: Almost any fingering weight yarn of around 400m to 500m/100g would be suitable. You will need two skeins of fingering weight for Yarn A and one skein of Yarn B (about 400m/100g); for yarns of less than 400m/100g, or underweight skeins, I would suggest having a backup skein of Yarn A as yardage could be pretty close.
Circular Needles: 3.75mm (US5) and 4.5mm (US 7) about 1m in length or needles to create a pleasing fabric – your fabric should not be too dense and should have good drape.
You will also need: stitch markers, needle (for weaving in ends), blocking pins and mats.
Gauge: Gauge is not overly important as this is a shawl. However, it is better to knit a swatch to ensure that you are happy with your tension and the drape of your fabric remembering that a looser gauge will result in additional yardage requirements. The gauge achieved was 24 sts to 4” before blocking and 18.5 sts to 4” after a very gentle block, really just smoothing the damp shawl out evenly and ensuring straight lines – measurement taken over garter stitch using 3.75mm (US 5) needles.

The pattern is both fully written and charted throughout.
