The Togetherness Flower

This is such a tiny simple flower, a scrap of nothing. That is how many of us feel too sometimes, as if the things we do and the life we lead mean little. And yet that is not true! If it far, far from the truth.

You do mean something, you do contribute to the world in your unique way that no one else can possibly do so. Without you, there would be a YOU sized hole in the world.

This tiny simple flower pattern is my gift to you. I am making it to add to some yarnbombs in the hope that this little action will make someone smile. I may never know if it does, but I am willing to bet that it will.

I believe Helen Keller was right, that alone we feel isolated and lonely, maybe disconnected, but together we feel happier and can achieve great things like friendship, compassion and creativity. These are things I wish for you.
