It’s fun, it’s light, it’s incredibly adorable! This market-bag tote is made to be used, perfect for the beach or the store. As a Tunisian crochet project, it’s a new spin on a classic tote that is guaranteed to satisfy your making desires and functional need!

Sizes:
• Finished Size: 35” x 18 ½” x 6”
• Body: 6” x 17” x 6”

• Straps: 41” x 2”

Materials:
• 4.5mm Tunisian (afghan) crochet hook, 16” cable and stopper
Second hook – 4.5mm, optional
• 4 skeins - Rowan Creative Linen – 50% cotton, 50% linen: 100g, 218yds/200m, DK weight
Yarn A – Foggy 624 (1 skein)
Yarn B – Silver 650 (2 skeins)
Yarn C – Mustard 647 (1 skein)
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers (optional)

Notes:
➔ Machine washable!
➔ This design focuses on an entrelac style of design – entrelac ‘in the round.’
➔ Diagrams are available at the end of the pattern for a visual aid while working the pattern.
➔ After the bottom of the tote is complete, the mesh section can be worked each side flat, or in Tunisian in the round. Both techniques can obtain the same look.
➔ The straps can be made separately and sewn onto the tote, or the stitches can be picked up and the strap worked while getting attached to the tote. Picking up is more tedious, but is nice when sewing isn’t of interest. This pattern is written to be separately made.
