This pattern is a simple cable knit that works up very quickly. By offsetting the cable pattern halfway through the hat you create a unique cable very easily. The hat comes in two adult sizes (small and large) and is easily modifiable for kids or really big heads.

In order to complete this pattern you’ll want to be comfortable with knitting in the round, cabling and both SSK and K2tog decreases. The pattern needs about 150y of your favorite worsted weight yarn.

Update 6/19/2021
I’ve made a few TINY changes to the pattern to better distribute the cabling. The overall pattern is the same, just newly designed to bring the bottom and top cabling motifs closer together. The pattern is still largely the same!
