This is an easy to knit bear designed by Sardines For Tea and highly regarded, much published designer, Sue Jobson.

This pattern includes: instructions to make Tom Bear and his fox outfit, a list of abbreviations, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is written in English.

Techniques: You will need to be able to cast on and off, knit, purl, knit stitches together, pass slip stitch over, slip 1, make one stitch, increase, pick up stitches and sew seams. In addition you will need to use the Intarsia method - using separate balls of yarn for each block of colour, twisting colours together.

1 ball (85 metres per ball) Snowflake DK (We used Sirdar shade 634 Wuzzy )
1 ball Cotton DK in orange (Main shade)
1 ball Cotton DK in white (contrast shade)
Small amount of black Cotton DK for facial features.

Please note : This is a knitting pattern for you to make your own Tom Bear, you are not buying the finished toy.
