15 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches
in main body of the cosy with yarn worked double and larger needles
US 2½ - 3.0 mm
US 7 - 4.5 mm
153 - 186 yards (140 - 170 m)
This pattern is for a 2.5 pint teapot but the size could be adapted by changing the needle size.

The main cosy is knitted using two strands of DK on 4.5mm needles. All other parts are knitted on 3mm needles and single strand DK.

For the beard I used James C Brett fur yarn for the beard, approx 20gm.

Approx 25gm toy stuffing is also required.
