Tony's Toque
This is a hat made with about one skein of plain old acrylic, Red Heart yarn. (That’s what Tony wanted).
Make the hat larger or smaller by using different needle sizes and/or cutting a section of 14 stitches out of the pattern. This hat was for a very big hat, so I would probably use a US size 8 needle for a normal size head.
This is the first and only pattern I have ever written down. Usually with hats I just fly by the seat of my pants and then can’t remember what I did.:-) So I kept track of what I was doing on this hat, and what ‘d ya know I had a pattern when I was finished.
