Toor toor is wolof (language spoken in Senegal and part of West-Africa) for flower

Toor toor is a pullover or a tunic featuring a large intarsia motif and pockets. It is worked top down seamlessly in the round. The shoulder and sleeves construction is an improved version of the one I use in almost all my pullovers and cardis (inspired by the contiguous method of Susie Myers). I found a way to work them without breaking any yarn, yippie.

Included are

  • a photo tutorial to work ‘intarsia in the round’ in a separate pdf,
  • 3 different charts for the intarsia motifs and an empty chart if you should want to make your own motif,
  • a photo tutorial to work the folded hems and - as usual - lots of illustrations and schematics on techniques used.

Without the intarsia this is just a well fitting pullover - especially at the shoulders - that can be used again and again … with different colors, striping, texture, …

You will find 3 pdfs in the pattern: one with the smaller sizes (XS-S-M), another with the larger sizes (M2-L-XL) and the pdf with the phototutotrial on intarsia in the round.
