Top down easy Tabi or split toe socks
by Camy Tang
This pattern is
available for free.
This is a sock pattern I adjusted from a toe-up pattern. It is adjustable for different yarn weights, needle sizes, and foot sizes, but it assumes the knitter already knows the basics of top down sock knitting (I give links to sock knitting web tutorials on the pattern page).
I give a sock pattern you can follow, but really you can use any sock pattern you like for the cuff, leg, heel, and foot.
At the bottom of the pattern is the calculation for the toe split if you’re not using the same yarn weight that I did in the pattern (fingering). I also give an example from when I used worsted weight yarn.
