I adore beanies and I have two little boys who love them even more than I do! My boys are always asking for new hats, regardless of the weather or season, so I thought I would come up with something fun for St. Patrick’s Day, Irish heritage and spring.

This beanie is great for beginners who want to practice the front post double crochet stitch. Be sure to crochet your front post double crochets loosely, since they tend to draw up the fabric as it is created. Enjoy spring in your neck of the woods and may the luck of the Irish be with you!
