Use circular needles or a set of double-pointed needles for the sleeves and collar. It may be necessary to go down one needle size when binding off the shoulder stitches.

CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is worked from the bottom to the top. The Back, Front and the Sleeves are knitted back and forth in rows and are worked separately to the underarm location. Then, they are joined together and worked in the round for a time while working a raglan shaping above the underarm. After the underarm raglan shaping, the Front, Back and Sleeves are again separated. The Sleeve stitches are cast off and the Front and Back are completed separately back and forth in rows. The neckline is formed on the Front by using short row shaping. The shoulder stitches of the Front and Back are finished using a decorative, left-leaning horizontal cast off method. A much simpler alternative for a cast off of the shoulders would be using the three-needle bind-off method, but the decorative cast off is highly recommended. The turtleneck collar is worked separately and then sewn to the neckline.
