This pattern is perfect for using up your scraps, use as many colors as you like, or keep it simple.

The pattern is worked with a smaller needle, a size 4mm (US size 6) than usually recommended to create a tight and insulating make-up.

Be sure to only use wool (and make sure it’s not a superwash), to allow the material to felt, and not cotton or any other synthetic fiber, since those don’t insulate as well as wool.
