Designed with the thoughts of soft, warm animal companions that like to curl up where ever they can find a spot. I’ve had cats that wanted nothing more than to drape themselves over my face or neck, purring to their hearts content, and I designed this cowl with that exact memory in mind. The changing textures make it comfortable but not too bulky, and just a real pleasure to wear.

The Tortie Cowl combines all the comfort of a cozy shawl without the fuss of wrapping or fiddling with ends. I never know how to style the big, bulky shawls I love to knit, and so this is a lovely compromise!

Knit flat and then seamed at the end makes it easy to adjust the neck size to your comfort. A fun, textured, and easy knit.

Materials:

Yarn: Dyehouse Yarns Bridle Trails DK, 2 skeins (or approx. 425 yards of a DK weight yarn)

Needles: 32” circulars, Size US 7 (4.5 mm)

Additional notions: Stitch markers, darning needle.

Note: Cowl is knit flat and seamed when finished.
