This is worked much like a graphgan but uses a written pattern. With the exception of the border, it is worked entirely in single crochet. For this afghan, I used 1 skein each of Red Heart Super Saver Turquoise and Pretty in Pink. Two skeins of Red Heart Super Saver Bright Yellow and Pumpkin. Three skeins each of Red Heart Super Saver white. Two skeins of Big Twist Hot Pink.
Because you need to have multiple uses of some colors in each row, it is best to wind yarn onto cardboard bobbins for ease of use. Wind one bobbin for each color for each use. For instance, on some rows, there will be 5 uses of the color white. Therefor, you will wind 5 bobbins of the color white.
