ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Totally Spaced It Cowl is a fun, quick knit perfect for last-minute gift knitting… including times when you’ve “totally spaced” getting a gift together for someone… or perhaps you’ve been procrastinating! Regardless of the circumstances you might find yourself in, this is a quick, simple knit with basic stitches and an easy-to-memorize repeat. The finished cowl is super cozy and warm.

SIZES
(Adult S, Adult M, Adult L)
Circumference: (25.5, 28, 30.5) in / (64, 70, 76) cm
Height: (9, 11, 13.25) in / (22, 28, 33.5) cm

The design sample is size Adult Small.

YARN
(168, 229, 299) yds/(154, 209, 273) m; (304, 415, 541) grams Super Bulky weight yarn

GAUGE
10 stitches, 18 rounds = 4 in / 10 cm in Garter Rib Inside Out

Note: Meeting gauge isn’t crucial for the success of the project but does impact your end measurements and amount of yarn required.

TOOLS
7.5 mm (US size 10.5) circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge, at least the length of cowl circumference (if using magic loop; if not using magic loop, length of needle should be less than the cowl circumference)

Darning needle
Marker for beginning of round, optional
Tape measure

TECHNIQUES

Knit, purl, work in the round.
