Hook: 7/4.5mm

Yarn: 8ply/DK (or whatever is in your stash)
Base color – Less than 50g
Contrast colours (col a-i, see colour guide below) up to 9 contrast colours, 50g total nb. This is a great project to use up small amounts of yarn from your stash, similar to how granny squares do.

Fabric:One piece for reverse side of cover 25x31cm

Trims: 3 buttons, no smaller than 8mm and no larger than 15mm
Hot water bottle: 2L hot water bottle approx. 26x20cm even with a cover hot water bottles can cause burns, be sure to never fill a hot water bottle with boiling water and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on use of your hottie.

Finished dimensions: 22cm x 28cm plus opening 2cm x 15.5cm
