This is a project that is beginner friendly, great for social knitting, yet interesting enough to get you to the finish line. The uncomplicated shape eliminates fit problems and the simple glitzy stripes carry the poncho from casual autumn afternoons to dinner and the movies.

Knit in a worsted weight yarn with the stripes created through the use of a very lightweight yarn held along with the worsted, gauge is important but not critical. Holding the two yarns together in the stripes creates textural as well as color well as color interest. Knit in one piece, the front measures 20” in length and the back 23”. Buttons may be added under the arms as desired.

Pattern was knit using The Fibre Co Cumbria worsted and Stacy Charles Adele.
