Tour de Top is a simple (maybe reversible?) basic top with a low round neckline in Front and Back.
To achieve a perfect fit at the yoke, it is meant to be worked without a lot of positive ease at the yoke.

Tour de Top is worked from bottom up as follows: The stitches are cast on for a ribbed hem and afterward the body is worked in rounds in stockinette stitch. At armholes, the work is divided and the two parts are worked separately, shaping armholes and neckline in rows ending with shoulder straps. Small edges around the neckline and armholes are worked in 1x1 rib.

Work Tour de Top in one color, monochrome colors, fading stripes, wild and funny stripes, or neatly organized stripes. Get inspired by the Tour, the colors of nature or a piece of art .

Tour de Top was the pattern for the 3 weeks knit-along with other knitters sitting in front of the TV watching Tour de France 2021
