Tove, a jacket for the littlest ones, is knitted in the round from the bottom up. A steek is worked on the front, which is later cut open. The steek makes it easier to knit the pattern. Body and sleeves are knitted separately in the round, each from the bottom cuff up to the armholes, and joined before the circular yoke. The body has a slight A-line silhouette.
A button band and buttons are added later.
Since the Plötulopi yarns blend well together using the “split and spice” technique, you can play with colors and change them as often as you like, even in the middle of a row. That’s how this color fade came about.

If you substitute a different yarn, it should have a rustic component and not be superwashed, as this makes steeking more difficult—the yarn is too slippery.

Tove, die Jacke für die Kleinsten wird von unten nach oben in Runden gestrickt. Vorne wird ein Steek gearbeitet, der später aufgeschnitten wird. Der Steek erleichtert es das Muster in der Rundpasse der Jacke zu stricken. Der Body und die Ärmel werden separat jeweils vom unteren Bündchen, bis zu den Armausschnitten in Runden gestrickt und vor der Rundpasse vereint. Die Jacke hat eine leichte A-Linie.Die Knopfleiste wird nachträglich angestrickt.
Da man die Plötulopifäden durch split and spice gut miteinander verbinden kann, kann man super mit den Farben spielen und die Farben beliebig oft wechseln, auch mitten in der Reihe. So ist der besondere Farbwechsel entstanden.

Wenn du die Wolle durch eine andere ersetzt, sollte diese einen rustikalen Anteil haben und nicht superwashed sein, da dies das Steeken erschwert, die Wolle ist zu flutschig.

Empfohlene Nadeln : 60 und 40 cm lange Rundstricknadeln in Nadelstärke 3.5 mm und 4 mm. Für die Ärmel ein Nadelspiel wählen oder mit Magic Loop stricken.

Maschenprobe: 18 M x 25 R = 10 x 10 cm in Runden gestrickt, gewaschen und geblockt.
